It is labelled "for pets" because you should not use my earlier one if you have Pets or later EPs. However, it is ok to use this version even with earlier games. For example if you put "6" for a teen, they will be a teenager for 7 days. This is applied to a Sim at the time of transition, so edits to this file start to affect each Sim at his or her next age transition.

I don't know if this file contains the place to specify total lifespan, so you may find if you make the teen stage say 90 days, Sims might die of old age while still teenagers.

An experiment you might like to try. I saw a line with '70' as the value, so that might be the baseline life expectancy you could play around with. Thank you to Paul White and Rune Borsjo who told me that the last 5 values in the BCON affect how many days elders can gain or lose due to events in their life.

Presumably reducing all those values will get rid of the oldies quicker :D. Fake menu shows you at a glance how long every Sim on the lot has left in his or her age stage. Custom Content or Mods? Never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?

I've fed my kitten seven age-up treats to no avail. I've waited overnight in-game and still, nothing has changed. She is still a kitten. Yes, they were on the home lot. Go to Solution. November Same and I went to vanilla game with no mods before this latest patch in prep for sliders coming for skin tones and new Snowy pack.

I bought treats on different sim days. I also do not have aging on. I was going to open another version of this save and turn it on to see if that changes anything. Can you link me to the thread of this issue? Just noticed it minutes ago. I updated my game with the Nov 10 patch too, and have screen-tested all my mods all fine , so I know it isn't it.

Tried aging up two sims across different households with the birthday cake and the sims will get the birthday party moodlet but it just auto-resets itself.

No aging up. I have the same issue. I added a kitten to a family for 5 sim days already and it is not aging up by itself. Usually it only takes days. Tried the age up treat at home and at a commercial lot, kitten still won't age up. No cc or mods.
