Windows explorer closes when i open a folder

No matter the method used to invoke file explorer, it keeps closing. Not crashing like I keep finding others having. I can open Word or Excel and browse for a file that way just fine. It's been 24 hours since the upgrade completed and now I'm having this issue.

What is the make and model of your computer? It could suggest you need to update your chipset drivers and BIOS. There are no particular causes which seem to lead to this issue but there are various possible reasons such as a recent software or hardware upgrade might have a conflict with File Explorer, Windows 10 settings might get corrupted, system files might be damaged, malfunctioning of Shell Extensions etc.
